Die sozial- und raumwissenschaftliche, besonders aber die politische Diskussion um Segregation konzentriert sich vor allem auf die residenzielle, ethnische Segregation. Der Band bilanziert die wissenschaftliche Debatte insbesondere in Deutschland dazu und pr\u00e4sentiert quantitativ und qualitativ fundierte Fallstudien zu diesem Bereich und zur Alterssegregation. Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden erstmalig Studien zur r\u00e4umlichen Segregation durch Sprache, von behinderten Menschen und Wohnungslosen pr\u00e4sentiert.<\/strong><\/p>\n
