Another prejudice indicates that any existence of a social care system was fundamentally instructed by &#8218;Moscow&#8216; and performed in a totally standardized way. However, recent research results show that these images do not correspond to the actual welfare structure behind the &#8218;iron curtain&#8216;. The refusal of bourgeois welfare traditions and the ban of the term &#8217;social work&#8216; did not prevent the &#8218;care for the people&#8216; from being one of the major topics of socialist politics in all Eastern European countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Die Beitr\u00e4ge zum Thema \u201aSozialf\u00fcrsorge im Staatssozialismus\u2019 zeigen, dass die These, im \u201aOstblock\u2019 habe es keine Formen der Sozialen Arbeit gegeben, falsch ist, auch wenn die Einschr\u00e4nkungen erheblich und folgenreich waren.
