Das Buch beleuchtet die gesellschaftlich begr\u00fcndete \u201eNatur\u201c des Mannes. Die Beitr\u00e4ge zeigen, wie M\u00e4nnlichkeit als soziale Konstruktion nach Teilgruppen unterschiedlich sein und sich \u00fcber die Zeit wandeln kann. Das wird an den Ver\u00e4nderungen \u201eerwachsener\u201c M\u00e4nnlichkeiten in Beruf und Familie verdeutlicht. Au\u00dferdem wird untersucht, wie M\u00e4nnlichkeit in Subgruppen evtl. auch \u00fcber \u201eabweichende\u201c Praktiken bew\u00e4ltigt werden kann.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gegenstand dieses Bandes ist der Mann, der in der bisherigen soziologischen Forschung eher selten Thema war. Gerade weil von naturwissenschaftlicher Seite versucht wird, die Frage von nature und nurture zugunsten der ersteren zu beantworten, ist die Soziologie verst\u00e4rkt aufgerufen zu zeigen, inwieweit die \u201eNatur\u201c des Mannes \u201eNatur durch Gesellschaft\u201c ist.<\/p>\n
