Analysiert werden u.a. die Teilnahme an Wahlen, parteibezogene Partizipation sowie politisches Protestverhalten. Der Band richtet sich in erster Linie an Studierende.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Beteiligung der B\u00fcrger und B\u00fcrgerinnen am politischen Prozess z\u00e4hlt zu den wichtigsten Merkmalen einer Demokratie. Studien zur politischen Partizipation haben insofern eine lange Tradition innerhalb der Politikwissenschaft. Das Buch bietet eine Einf\u00fchrung in das breite Feld der Partizipationsforschung und beleuchtet auf der Basis theoretischer wie methodischer Grundlagen die unterschiedlichen Formen politischer Beteiligung. Analysiert werden in den einzelnen Beitr\u00e4gen u.a. die Teilnahme an Wahlen, parteibezogene Partizipation, direktdemokratische Beteiligung sowie politisches Protestverhalten. Daneben wird auch das politische Verhalten ausgew\u00e4hlter Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen in den Blick genommen. Abschlie\u00dfend wird die Frage diskutiert, inwiefern das Internet politische Partizipation f\u00f6rdern kann.
