It presents them both as a product of specific national welfare arrange\u00adments and as a sign of a special kind of professional autonomy that so far helped to correct national welfare trends.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dieses Buch untersucht die gegenw\u00e4rtigen sozialpolitischen Ver\u00e4nderungen im post-1989 Europa und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Praxis der Sozialen Arbeit. Dabei ist der historische R\u00fcckblick auf das Projekt der Sozialstaatgr\u00fcndung und der kulturellen Homogenisierung relevant f\u00fcr die Entwicklung einer kritischen Zukunftsperspektive, in der zivilgesellschaftliche Initiativen neu ber\u00fccksichtigt werden m\u00fcssen. Programme der sozialstaatlichen Aktivierung stellen die Soziale Arbeit vor schwere Entscheidungen, die einer differenzierten Analyse bed\u00fcrfen. Hermeneutische Kompetenzen nach den Grunds\u00e4tzen der interkulturellen Kommunikation versprechen den sozialen Professionen eine Form der verantwortlichen Autonomie, die Bed\u00fcrfnisse von
