Die Autorin sucht einen Zugang zu diesen von den Selbstverst\u00e4ndlichkeiten der Mittelschicht weit entfernten Milieus. Ihre Ergebnisse sind nicht zuletzt von bildungspolitischer Relevanz, um die Bildungssituation in Mexiko verbessern zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Mexiko bricht fast ein Drittel der Kinder im Schulalter die Schule ab bzw. besucht sie erst gar nicht. Viele dieser Kinder stammen aus armen Familien in sozialen Brennpunkten. Ausgerechnet aus denselben Milieus stammen aber auch Schulkinder, die eine \u00e4u\u00dferst starke schulische Leistung erbringen. Welche handlungsleitenden Schulorientierungen lassen sich in solchen Familien erkennen? Welche Unterschiede und \u00c4hnlichkeiten gibt es zwischen Schulabbrecher-und Schulerfolgsfamilien aus dem Armutsmilieu? Ist f\u00fcr diese Familien Bildung n\u00fctzlich? Welche Rolle spielt die finanzielle Situation der Familie f\u00fcr die Bildung ihrer Kinder? Welche Zusammenh\u00e4nge gibt es zwischen der Orientierung dieser Familien und der Schulleistung ihrer Kinder? Die Autorin geht diesen Fragen am Beispiel von sechs Familien des Armutsmilieus in der mexikanischen Stadt Puebla nach. Sie rekonstruiert die schulische Orientierung der ausgesuchten Familien anhand von Gruppendiskussionen und wertet sie auf der Grundlage der dokumentarischen Methode der Interpretation aus.
