It analyses the history of the charter, which came into force in 2020, and its multifaceted content. In doing so, it acknowledges the role of the African Union and its member states, as well as UNESCO, in its implementation, particularly within the \u2018Global Priority Africa\u2019 framework.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The author:<\/strong><br \/><strong>Sabine von Schorlemer<\/strong>, Prof. Dr. Dr., is a senior professor at the\u00a0Dresden University of Technology.
