Der Sammelband setzt sich mit Stadtentwicklung aus einer emanzipatorischen Perspektive auseinander und diskutiert das Konzept der Emanzipation als eine m\u00f6gliche Leitidee f\u00fcr die interdisziplin\u00e4re Forschung und Praxis zur Stadtentwicklung.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In die aktuellen Diskurse zu Soziale Arbeit und Stadtentwicklung hat der Leitbegriff Emanzipation \u2013 im Gegensatz zu Partizipation \u2013 bisher kaum Eingang gefunden. Dem gegen\u00fcber steht, dass die Leitidee Emanzipation ein theoretisches und handlungsleitendes Potenzial beinhaltet. Insbesondere angesichts der Vielzahl sozialer Ungleichheiten, dem rasanten st\u00e4dtebaulichen und gesellschaftlichen Wandel in den St\u00e4dten und der Vieldeutigkeit von sich miteinander in einem Wettstreit befindenden Meinungen dar\u00fcber, an welchen Konzepten und Normen sich die Soziale Arbeit sowie die Stadtplanung und -entwicklung orientieren sollen, gilt es, die Aktualit\u00e4t und Attraktivit\u00e4t des Konzepts von Emanzipation zu pr\u00fcfen, und dieses, aus praxistheoretischer Sicht, an die gegenw\u00e4rtigen Realit\u00e4ten anzupassen und weiterzuentwickeln.<\/p>\n<p>Nach einer eingehenden theorieorientierten Diskussion des Konzepts Emanzipation, tasten sich die Beitr\u00e4ge dieses Bandes an solche T\u00e4tigkeitsbereiche der Sozialen Arbeit und Stadtentwicklung heran, in denen die Leitidee Emanzipation von Relevanz ist oder sein k\u00f6nnte.
