Diesen Fragen widmet sich die Autorin. Es wird ein theoretisches Erkl\u00e4rungsmodell vorgestellt, anhand dessen sich partnerschaftliches generatives Handeln bei vorliegender Infertilit\u00e4t aus dezidiert sozialwissenschaftlicher Perspektive analysieren l\u00e4sst. Dieses bildet die Grundlage f\u00fcr die empirische Untersuchung. Als Basis f\u00fcr die Analysen werden die Daten einer eigens durchgef\u00fchrten Befragung von Paaren in Kinderwunschbehandlung verwendet.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der Mythos der Planbarkeit von Familie h\u00e4lt sich hartn\u00e4ckig, obwohl immer mehr Paare Probleme bei der Umsetzung ihres Kinderwunsches auf nat\u00fcrlichem Wege haben. Immer fr\u00fcher und h\u00e4ufiger werden die assistierten Reproduktionstechniken in Anspruch genommen und k\u00f6nnen im Erfolgsfall Paaren die Erf\u00fcllung eines Kinderwunsches erm\u00f6glichen. Im Buch werden Entscheidungen im Kontext von (tempor\u00e4r) unerf\u00fcllten Kinderw\u00fcnschen und Reproduktionsmedizin als zentrale Komponenten des generativen Handelns und damit als relevantes Forschungsfeld der demografischen Fertilit\u00e4tsforschung betrachtet.
