While there seems to be enough evidence that IT can enhance learning at the university level, we do not precisely know under which conditions technology is really effective as a catalyst for student learning. Moreover, many examples of using IT in the classroom come from pure science classes, where ‘correct’ answers are easily accommodated with multiple choice questioning. In this book, the authors fill this gap by discussing their own experience with the use of IT in social science courses.
