What implications does the convergence and recontextualization of these innovations have for new forms of warfare, particularly in the fields of nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, and cognitive science (NBIC)? This integrative literature review analyzes and synthesizes the approaches of experts in this field, incorporating the role of dual-use and offensive and defensive classification.
